Job Overview The Retention Marketing Team is responsible for driving growth and optimizing customer lifetime value through our owned media. The team is responsible for the customer contact strategy, lifecycle, and end to end campaign execution for all retention channels –Email, Mobile, Direct Mail, and POS. The Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the end to end execution and delivery for our Mobile communication - promotional, editorial & loyalty. They will help to manage the production workflow for all Retention Marketing tactics working with cross functional teams, consistently identifying areas of opportunity across the workflow, help with managing partner relationships, and support omni-channel initiatives for Macy’s.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing or project management.
  • Knowledge of Mobile or email, Internet and direct marketing methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a cross-functional, team-based environment.
  • Self-starter with strong communication, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Must have demonstrable computer skills and aptitude for technology, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software (World, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and database applications. Proven analytical abilities are a must.
  • BA/BS college degree is required; concentration in Marketing a plus.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or project management.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support day to day operations for Macy’s Mobile production – including calendar functions, asset review, asset delivery and build, assembly, preview, testing, and executing of campaigns.
  • Help to oversee the channel growth and ensure Mobile channels remain agile.
  • Support the team by developing into multi-tactic SME (e.g. SMS, Push Notification, and Site Personalization campaigns) for second-setting and back up.
  • Support day to day responsibilities managing late changes to Mobile and late campaign executions, work with corresponding teams to ensure all campaigns are built in a timely manner and that they are executed accurately.
  • Act as primary contact for Retention Marketing Mobile tactics for wider teams including the dedicated Mobile QA team.
  • Assist in trouble shooting and communicating Mobile content issues with internal support team.
  • Relationship building with cross-functional teams (e.g. Communication Strategy, CRM, Marketing Strategy, Project Management, Creative, Content Engineering, and Quality Engineering teams) to complete work, collaborate on solutions and implement change seamlessly.
  • Support strategy to improve marketing Mobile communication execution and messaging strategy by incorporating more personalization, dynamic content, and other technical advancements.
  • Consistently demonstrate regular, dependable attendance, responsiveness & punctuality.
