Requirements

• 3 to 5 years’ experience and contacts in the restaurant/food industry.
• Able to work independently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Soliciting new business and maintaining the existing customer base.
• Communicating with customers to determine if they are receiving proper service and require additional services or equipment.
• Meeting with cancelled accounts to determine reasons for cancellation and attempt to regain accounts.
• Scheduling meetings with customers and setting up cold calls in identified areas.
• Communicating orally and in writing with customers and all levels of Company personnel.
• Meeting/communicating with City and/or County inspectors regarding regulations.
• Spending 75-90 percent of the day in the field visiting customers.
• Preparing customer setup sheets and entering new customer information into the Company’s routing system.
• Providing daily reports to the Division General Manager and Procurement Operations Manager.
• Following up on stops with no material picked up as identified by drivers.
• Interacting with others in a professional and ethical manner.
• Following department and company procedures.
• Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
• Performing other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the business.
