CUSTOMER QUALITY SPECIALIST Job Description : This position will be responsible for handling a high volume of ingredient and supplier documentation requests. It will require direct communication with customers, sales representatives, vendors and our Quality department. This position is based in our Rosemont corporate office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or in related science field; or commensurate experience in quality, operations, or regulatory areas.
  • Confirmed ability to work well independently with minimal supervision; actively seeks mentorship when needed to maintain progress on assignments.
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to handle multiple requests/assignments at a time and complete assigned requests accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, graphics, and database software.
  • Excellent verbal and written social skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Completing a high volume of incoming customer requests daily.
  • Responding to requests for standard documents, questionnaires, customer specifications, and quality agreements.
  • Working collaboratively with technical, manufacturing, quality, and customer support groups to complete customer questionnaires.
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our products and manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborating with other members of the Quality team to maintain and continuously improve the systems and databases.
  • Organizing and maintaining all quality documentation and standard letters and tracking responses to customer inquiries.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure customer documentation response process functions efficiently.
  • Working with Sales to ensure requests are complete and prioritized as needed.
  • Manage and maintain Vendors and Customer portals, questionnaires and surveys.
