About The Position
As a Customer Project Manager (CPM) at Philips, you will play a crucial role in serving the healthcare community by effectively managing the installation of capital medical equipment and the implementation of IT solutions across various stages of the healthcare continuum. This position is part of the Philips Healthcare Services and Solutions Delivery (S&SD) business, where your primary responsibility will be to oversee multiple projects that vary in scope, size, and complexity. These projects may include IT solutions, capital equipment installations, and systems integration, all aimed at ensuring a stellar customer experience as guided by the statement of work. In this role, you will coordinate, lead, and motivate a diverse cross-functional team that includes internal and external sales, clinical, and technical resources. You will work closely with the hospital's project manager or point(s) of contact to ensure site readiness and adherence to project timelines. Your responsibilities will also include advising on project plans and providing daily updates on project status and activities. This is a field-based position that requires travel up to 75% of the time within the District, specifically covering Central Alabama and South Georgia. To be successful in this role, you will need to leverage your extensive experience in project management and IT integration within a healthcare environment. You will be expected to possess robust leadership skills and the ability to influence all project resources and stakeholders effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position. Additionally, obtaining the applicable PMI Certification is required within a specific time period after starting in the CPM role. US work authorization is a prerequisite for employment, and candidates requiring sponsorship for a work-authorized visa will not be considered. Relocation benefits are not provided, and candidates must reside in or near the Central Alabama or South Georgia area.
