The Customer Product Growth Specialist is responsible for utilizing technical expertise of products, industry, and discipline to service customers with respect to all aspects of the relationship including bid proposals, product usage, alternative products, etc. The role involves consulting with customers on technical aspects of products, troubleshooting technical issues, advising on products and costs, evaluating specifications and bid submissions, and recommending sourcing and pricing bids. The specialist will conduct testing and calculations on products to determine appropriate calibration for specific applications and work with customers to obtain specialty material for specific projects. Collaboration with the sales team is essential to advise, source, and present quotes that meet technical specifications. The specialist will also recommend inventory changes and develop strategies to meet corporate growth goals while effectively handling customer service issues and serving as a key point of contact for customers.
