About The Position

The Customer Operations Sr. Specialist role provides administration support during Employee Benefits Solutions (EBS) new client implementations and other types of client projects, helping clients understand and implement administrative processes (ex. enrollment, beneficiary management, ongoing contract changes, loss of eligibility and billing) that will meet or exceed their objectives. Key initiatives include new technology implementations for new and existing clients and plan design related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with EBS Account Executives, clients and their benefits administrators to identify potential issues and provide solutions for effective administration to achieve clients' goals.
  • Lead administrative systems set-up needed for any home office administered processes and work with other internal teams to ensure clients' products are implemented and systems are set up correctly.
  • Partner closely with other solutions group teams, Enterprise Technology, and other areas within EBS Admin. and SBS to provide support, input or recommendations to their work.
  • Monitor and respond to messages received through team inbox.
  • Utilize product knowledge for Group Life and Supplemental Health products to support administrative needs.
  • Support project leaders by providing contingency plans to keep tasks on track during implementation, and ensure deadlines are met for go-live dates.
  • Understand complex, varying TPA capabilities and proactively identify potential issues during implementation projects.
  • Identify resources to create requirements.
  • Consult as needed with internal and external partners until project goals are accomplished.
