About The Position

As a TICE Customer Coordinator at American Welding & Gas (AWG), you will be responsible for managing customer sales/orders, processing dropship orders, and coordinating delivery-related inquiries. This role requires regular communication with customers and coordination with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service or order management roles.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Process all dedicated and local branch customer sales/orders.
Handle all TICE dropship orders through SPS, Rithium, and Amazon.
Run weekly open order reports to ensure timely deliveries.
Answer incoming calls regarding TICE-related inquiries, including order status and delivery questions.
Coordinate with the Billing Clerk on open orders and missed deliveries.
Provide order support to the Operations team and installers.
Assist with sending ASN to customers on dropship orders.
Create shipping labels for UPS or FedEx and Bills of Lading (BOLs) for LTL shipments as needed.
Serve as backup for the TICE billing clerk.
Perform additional administrative support as needed to streamline operations.
