Join our team as a Customer Operations Specialist, where you'll play a key role in supporting our customers and ensuring that every order - from start to finish - runs smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted point of contact for our customers, solving problems, coordinating shipments, and collaborating with teams across Supply Chain, Transportation, Sales, and more. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of customer service or order management experience, ideally in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - you take pride in helping customers succeed
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to partner for customers and internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time, and complete order fulfillment.
  • Manage and monitor customer sales orders, billing, and delivery processes with precision and care.
  • Troubleshoot order and delivery issues - identifying the root cause, resolving quickly, and keeping customers informed along the way.
  • Research and resolve claims (such as overages, shortages, or damages), pricing discrepancies, and deduction issues.
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT, Supply Chain, Pricing, Transportation, and Sales to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
  • Review inventory reports to anticipate and communicate shortages or offer substitutions that keep customers satisfied.
  • Analyze ordering patterns to uncover efficiencies, cost savings, and service improvements.
  • Collaborate with customers on payments, inventory solutions, and process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance the customer experience and strengthen internal operations.
  • Maintain compliance with documentation and team processes.
