About The Position

This position serves as a key contact for enforcing customer compliance requirements and managing exceptions for supply chain at all Distribution Centers and plant shipping floors. This position also validates daily complaints through internal tracking systems for customers and internal departments. This role will work to fulfill logistics services to Pelican customers and plays a key role in managing those relationships. Partner with the Director of Supply Chain to manage logistics center inventory, fulfill supply chain services, and support strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Intermediate knowledge of data mining and analysis.
  • Intermediate knowledge of logistics processes, inbound and outbound.
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or related field.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain performance management.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with ERP SAP preferred. Warehouse Management Systems/Transportation Management Systems capabilities, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for distribution centers and transportation providers, resolving real-time customer shipping issues and communicating delays.
  • Investigate shipment complaints, conduct root-cause analysis, and coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Resolve Advance Ship Notice (ASN) failures and shipment visibility issues by working with IT, carriers, and logistics providers.
  • Monitor in-transit product timing from manufacturing plants to distribution centers and produce daily and compliance reporting.
  • Maintain customer logistics requirements, EDI conditions, and carrier routing data across ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
  • Support Order-to-Cash platform updates, test carrier system changes, investigate chargebacks and claims, and implement logistics compliance processes.
