About The Position

The Customer Master Data Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and improving the quality of Customer Master Data within AbbVie. This position involves operational support, adherence to standard operating procedures, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and compliance. The Analyst is responsible for implementing changes in SAP master data, coordinating data setup, and developing reports and visualizations to support business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Prior experience in master data management within SAP.
  • Over 4 years of experience in master data management, ideally within global projects or companies.
  • Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA Customer Master Data and GTS functionality.
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferred.
  • Experience in active Data Governance using data management tools like DSP or equivalent is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification(s) is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferred.
  • Microsoft Power BI certification(s) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Implement changes to SAP master data as authorized by the business.
  • Coordinate Customer data setup, validations, and regular maintenance.
  • Execute mass updates with XD99 or similar Tcodes.
  • Engage in projects and initiatives across various functional areas and regions.
  • Collaborate with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems.
  • Support the business with required procedures, submit incidents and change requests when needed.
  • Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, process flows, and related documentation.
  • Manage license maintenance in GTS, including validation of licenses against Medpro and state websites.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations.
  • Create data models, DAX calculations, and custom measures for effective data analysis.
  • Provide expertise in data visualization and design appealing, user-focused reports.
  • Develop strategies to improve business reporting and planning processes.
  • Demonstrate strong SQL skills by writing efficient queries for data manipulation.
  • Transform raw data from multiple sources using SQL into clean, structured datasets.
