About The Position

We are immediately hiring a Customer Logistics Manager in Novi, MI (REMOTE) for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This remote role is responsible for managing a critical, priority lane for our client, ensuring all high‑visibility freight moves efficiently and on schedule. The Customer Logistics Manager oversees key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire team while providing clear direction, coaching, and feedback to drive operational excellence. This position requires proven transportation experience—whether in production support, supplier management, or carrier management—with a strong understanding of transportation operations. The manager will directly supervise six coordinators and indirectly lead fourteen clerks. Success in this role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build rapport while holding team members accountable in a professional, supportive manner. Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
  • Logistics industry knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
