Siemens Energy is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Interface Engineer at our new Transformers Repair Center at Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the Offer and Order process. You will also be a technical liaison between customers and the repair center, perform technical analysis, and managing offers and orders to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role will be based at our new factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, and will initially coincide with the factory's construction. During this phase, we will focus on developing our processes, refining our offerings, and collaborating closely with a high-performance team. This will involve all aspects of the commercial setup to ensure we are well-prepared to meet the needs of our customers effectively when factory operations start.

  • Contribute to high-performing offer and order management team that supports the factory's operational objectives.
  • Perform power transformer technical evaluation and provide evaluation.
  • Create and implement efficient and effective processes and systems to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer offers and orders, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, production, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of customer offers and orders.
  • Oversee the configuration and implementation of Salesforce and project management systems tailored to the specific needs of the factory's offer and order management and financial requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the factory's success in the power transformer repair market.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent field.
  • 8+ or more years of experience in the power transformer industry (engineering, sales, project management, field engineer, services). Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Power Transformer design or repair experience is required.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to offer and order management.
  • Experience with Engineering software, SAP & Salesforce is an added advantage.
  • If not local the candidate must be willing to relocate to Charlotte-NC area.
