Job Summary This role serves as the business lead for complex inbound and outbound data integrations and enrollment systems. You will guide new and existing integrations, manage high‑complexity data projects, and act as a subject matter expert for internal teams and customers. The position includes triaging data issues, leading integration implementations, and supporting capability development across the team. You will also collaborate with partners, drive process improvements, and represent the organization in customer‑facing discussions. Ability to travel 5–10% as needed is a requirement of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration, group insurance benefits, and customer‑facing project management within the health benefits industry.
  • Experience with API configuration using Adeptia or similar graphical user interface tools.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database querying tools such as SQL Server or TOAD.
  • Enrollment or absence case configuration experience with Workday, Selerix, ADP, PlanSource, or other benefits administration systems.
  • Ability to travel 5–10% as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of basic database concepts and customer‑facing project management.
  • Experience with JScript or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex data integration implementations, including configuration, testing, and coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Serve as a business consultant to internal teams, policyholders, and brokers, educating and advocating for data integration capabilities (APIs, SSO, EDI).
  • Manage and resolve high‑complexity integration issues, providing root cause analysis and subject matter expertise.
  • Conduct process gap analyses and partner with leadership to define priorities and execute the data integration roadmap.
  • Represent the organization in customer presentations, finalist meetings, and vendor partnerships while providing informal leadership and mentoring.
