Applications will only be accepted while the posting remains active.Job SummaryThe Customer Insights Analyst collects and provides analysis of sales and customer metrics, creates actionable reporting and insights that contribute to sales growth and customer success. Provides business recommendations based on various channels of data, including internal sales metrics, customer key performance indicators (KPIs), voice-of-the-customer, and market intelligence. Develops and tracks KPIs that will be critical to ensure strategic customer performance, growth, retention and customer satisfaction. Develops innovative approaches to telling data and insight stories, which addresses customer challenges and proposes assist with issue resolution for alliance and strategic partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics
  • Experience working with large quantities of raw, disorganized data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and various analytic/statistical software
  • Must be able to perform complex functions within excel in order to manipulate and calculate data for analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (reading, writing and speaking in English). 
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize.  
  • Excellent customer service skills, including being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.
  • Ability to perform all aspects of the job as accurately and efficiently and safely as possible.
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and organize. 
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit Ownership Essentials.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written formats in one-on-one and group settings.

  • Knowledge of SQL a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, analyzes, interprets and presents trends or patterns in data and shares recommendations to management team and key stakeholders
  • Collects, analyzes, evaluates and reports data to increase service levels
  • Works closely with sales and alliance management teams to understand each customer’s business need to identify, develop, and implement enhancements to reporting and analytical deliverables
  • Develops innovative solutions and methods to solve problems, and assists with issue resolution for alliance and strategic partners
  • Implements data collection processes and other strategies to optimize efficiency and data quality
  • Interprets and/or translates data to illustrate findings and link to business results
  • Proactively runs reports to drive decisions and strategy planning at the Border States management level
  • Provides cross functional support to other members of the Customer Success team and branch support departments with specific focus on quality assurance, developing customer focused technology tools, and customer specific projects
  • Supports Customer Success Regional Coordinators and Alliance Coordinators with development of processes to ensure data is available for analysis
  • Facilitates quality assurance through development and analysis of reporting tools driving improvement of Border States’ performance with four and five-star customers
  • Works with the Business Intelligence team to build out standard reports within BI platform
  • Partners with other internal teams to optimize cross-functional workflows
  • Identifies ways to automate and/or streamline manual processes
  • Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
