About The Position

Position supports the Walmart Senior Customer Development Manager and leads the development of actionable insights customer planning and financial reporting for the Refrigerated Breakfast team by leveraging available resources that include; Retail Link Nielsen syndicated panel data shopper marketing data and industry studies. Provides comprehensive analytics for the following sales related activities: Provides recommendations solutions and thought leadership for assigned categories; leads and develops weekly reporting for team managers and at times Walmart; utilizes syndicated data insights through frequent interface with the buyers to be recognized as a category expert for the sales team; develops weekly quarterly and annual forecasts for POS shipments by category and track performance latest projections for the year; utilizes information to build annual operating plan assumptions; conducts deep analytics on new item launches and partners with the Business Unit and team on key insights; develops and publishes seasonal business trackers; directs all activities with the customer related to optimal promotional planning. Recommends trade efficiency opportunities and regional pricing initiatives based on trade analytics and market assessment; develops and maintains Walmart Joint Business Planning JBP files to be used in monthly and quarterly updates to Walmart. Responsible for leveraging syndicated data to conduct market assessment to develop regional category recommendations about assortment pricing and merchandising. This position works closely in a matrix organization with many different functions of the organization including Supply Chain Customer Team Demand Planning Brand Business Units and the Customer.
