About The Position

As an Implementation Engineer, you will lead technical onboarding and integration for enterprise customers after the contract signature. You will work closely with Customer Success, Product, Operations and Engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment of Convera solutions. This role involves configuring systems, supporting API integrations, validating compliance requirements, and driving customers to go-live within agreed timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in technical implementation, integration engineering, or solution delivery within fintech or payments.
  • Strong understanding of cross-border payment flows and FX processes.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, KYC, KYB, AML).
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 and global payment rails.
  • Experience with CRM and project management tools (Salesforce, Smartsheet, JIRA).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese (mandatory).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • ERP integration experience (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Exposure to treasury operations and corporate finance workflows
  • Experience managing technical onboarding projects with enterprise customers
  • Knowledge of FX risk management instruments (forwards, options)
  • Familiarity with SWIFT MT/MX messaging formats
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Own technical implementation from kickoff to go-live for assigned customers, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct integration workshops to define payment flows, FX needs, and compliance obligations while building trust through clear communication.
  • Configure Convera APIs, webhooks, and authentication methods (OAuth2, PKI) for customer environments with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Support ERP and treasury system integrations (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) for payment initiation and reconciliation.
  • Deliver technical documentation, integration guides, solution briefs, solution runbooks, and configuration checklists that enable smooth onboarding.
  • Validate compliance requirements including KYC, KYB, AML, PCI DSS, and data protection standards.
  • Integrate and onboard customers on global payment standards and rails such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, and RTP.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate fixes with internal engineering teams while managing customer expectations.
  • Track implementation milestones and report progress to internal and external stakeholders with transparency.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese and adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage conflicts and competing priorities by applying negotiation skills and driving consensus across teams.
