The Customer Experience Specialist, also known as a "Deck Ambassador," works poolside at the swim school and plays a critical role in providing an excellent customer experience. This role is more than just a job; it's a chance to create a lasting impact by empowering others and promoting water safety and a lifelong love of the water. While the school teaches swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Instructors should enjoy working with this age group and be adept at making parents feel comfortable. Experience with children or in a child-focused job is helpful but not required if the candidate demonstrates the right attitude. The job includes specialized training in the unique British Swim School approach. There are also opportunities within the Customer Service Team for those not in the pool, focusing on providing industry-best service and making everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family, with a mission to ensure the “Survival of the Littlest.” Each franchise location is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the local franchisee management.
