About The Position

The position is responsible for managing customer orders, ensuring that order setups and material dispatch align with customer needs. The role involves developing relationships with assigned list price customers, implementing retention strategies to improve margins, and providing outstanding customer service to enhance loyalty and retention across the company's aggregate and asphalt operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is desired.
  • Intermediate to high level of MS Office proficiency required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage call-in orders to ensure timely responses.
  • Set up orders and dispatch material sales based on customer demand.
  • Recapture lost sales through on-time submittals and customer relationships after bid day.
  • Recapture lost customers through outreach efforts in coordination with the sales team.
  • Provide customer service for credit card charges, invoice inquiries, and ticket inquiries.
  • Coordinate submittals and quality documentation to simplify business processes while maintaining material quality standards.
  • Provide quotes and pricing in coordination with the sales team for existing customers and potential leads.
  • Collaborate with Operations staff to ensure order confirmation and effective scheduling.
