About The Position

Requirements

• Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment in kids merchandise
• Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to learn new things
• Ability to act silly, have fun and play a character to give an unforgettable experience
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Availability including evenings, weekends, holidays and mornings
• Ability to interact with customers one on one or in a group/event setting for a regular length of time
• Extremely outgoing with an ability to talk to kids at their level while being patient and understanding

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and inviting environment in our kids department
• Add joy and excitement to the kids shopping experience
• Leverage our product to tell stories
• Engage and connect with kids and adults on the sales floor
• Demonstrate product and engage directly with customers in our Crazy Aarons Experience
