About The Position

MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. The Customer Experience Specialist will support the sales team by providing scheduling, marketing, and reporting assistance. The core component of this position is to provide a world-class customer experience by coordinating and facilitating manufacturing tours for customers within the western business unit. This is a hybrid schedule based in Sacramento, with two days per week working onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience managing budgets.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with dining and entertainment options, with strong knowledge of the Sacramento area preferred.
  • Corporate experience in event planning or event coordination.
  • Understanding of search engine functionality and capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating with teams in graphic design, sales, marketing, and communications.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate plant tours for sales representatives to showcase manufacturing facilities to customers.
  • Book venues, schedule guests, draft and finalize contracts, and manage day-of logistics for events.
  • Plan and execute offsite customer relations events.
  • Provide on-site support to Sales leaders during trade show events.
  • Support marketing efforts by creating PowerPoint presentations and serving as a liaison between Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with HR to coordinate new hire onboarding, including setup of computers, credit cards, Salesforce, and Power BI access.
  • Arrange logistics for new hires such as plant tours, flights, transportation, meals, and accommodations.
  • Provide coordination and support for Sales Management Trainees.
  • Maintain and update customer data, including tracking factors that influence pricing changes.
  • Represent and uphold the company's mission and vision through all events and interactions.
