About The Position

The Customer Experience Champion at COTA plays a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction by greeting guests, assisting with product selection, and supporting daily operations at the Customer Experience Center. This position is integral to COTA's mission of connecting people to prosperity through innovative solutions and teamwork, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in cash handling and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Assess customer needs and provide appropriate assistance.
  • Exercise effective oral and written communication skills to convey information clearly.
  • Maintain positive customer experiences through proactive engagement.
  • Promote COTA services and assist customers with trip planning and interactive kiosks.
  • Inform customers about new product and service features.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Advise customers on COTA services and assist with complaints and resolutions.
  • Create bus pass IDs and educate customers on available programs.
  • Assist customers with fare purchases using the Masabi/Transit app and other systems.
  • Maintain and document customer interaction data as per processes.
  • Count, maintain, and distribute bus pass inventory and merchandise sales.
  • Assist with managing the Outlet Program, including monthly consignments and sales payments.
