About The Position

The Business Analyst's primary responsibilities are to apply best practices and established methodologies in support of projects and initiatives that enhance customer experience through data-driven insights. This role emphasizes advanced Power BI programming skills to deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and visual analytics that inform strategic decisions. This position works closely with the Customer Experience Project Managers as well asl internal BRS departments (inventory management, sourcing, finance, etc.) to drive projects and open issues to closure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience related to data analysis and data management and producing independent work products preferred.
  • Experience designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations tailored to business needs.
  • Familiarity with integrating Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms a plus.
  • High level of excel proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management & AS400 experience as well as retail or supply chain industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all assigned projects and tasks to completion in conjunction with the designated project timeline (following best practices and established process).
  • Manage internal customer communications related to projects and tasks (responsive, positive, polished, drive to closure, etc.)
  • Leverage Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights across business functions.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience Project Managers to support project execution by delivering timely, accurate, and visually compelling data solutions.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data submissions and maintain data pipelines that support ongoing reporting needs.
  • Participate in the testing and implementation of new data processes and tools, ensuring alignment with business goals and user requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including inventory management, sourcing, and finance—to resolve data-related issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document data models, report logic, and dashboard functionality to support knowledge transfer and scalability.
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of all facets of the new customer onboarding process and execute appropriate tasks as needed.

  • Maintain accuracy in all relevant data submissions.
  • Utilize BRS Best Practices including usage of all recommended software and tools per established criteria.
