About The Position

The Customer Experience Associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned. This position involves greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner. The associate will operate front end scanning equipment and cash register, ensuring accuracy during transactions and maintaining proper security measures. Additionally, the associate will maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store layout, ensure cleanliness in the department, and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors to improve job performance. The role may also require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and assisting in other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, performing all related check out procedures.
  • Maintains accuracy during transactions, ensuring proper funds are collected and security measures are followed.
  • Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to assist customers.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and health guidelines.
  • Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Responsible for utilization of all company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • May assist in other departments as needed.
