About The Position
The Jacksonville Public Library is seeking 10 Seasonal - Outreach Customer Experience Associate. Under the general direction and supervision of the Manager of Youth Services, the seasonal Educational Programming Library Associate prepares and presents innovative and engaging programs for youth at outreach locations, such as summer camps, afterschool programs, and daycare centers, or inside a Jacksonville Public Library branch. The employee is responsible for recording relevant program data within the department and establishing a positive rapport with customers, outreach sites, and branch libraries. The work is performed under limited supervision where the work assignments are subject to established procedures, practices, techniques, and/or policies, and the employee plans and organizes the work, determines his/her own priorities, and the work is reviewed in terms of quality, volume, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures and policies.
