About The Position

Shamrock Trading Corporation is seeking a Customer Due Diligence Specialist to join our Underwriting team at RTS Financial. This role is crucial for underwriting new prospects and conducting risk analysis and due diligence on existing customers. The ideal candidate will perform various tasks including legal research on UCC filings, judgments, liens, and tax obligations, as well as filing UCC-1 Financing Statements and amendments. The specialist will also complete risk analysis and due diligence reviews of prospective new clients and current clients, ensuring compliance with company standards and maintaining confidentiality on all projects. Collaboration with the Onboarding, Sales Coordinators, Transition, Risk, and Operations teams is essential to ensure effective communication and flow of incoming accounts. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for training new hires as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite new prospects and complete risk analysis and due diligence on existing customers.
  • Perform legal research on UCC filings, judgments, liens, and tax obligations.
  • File UCC-1 Financing Statements and amendments.
  • Complete risk analysis and due diligence review of prospective new clients.
  • Terminate outstanding UCC's from competitors, banks, and other UCC's for prospective RTS Clients.
  • Perform in-depth risk analysis for prospective new carriers looking to combine with current RTSF Clients.
  • Complete additional risk analysis on current clients within the RTSF Cone process.
  • Review competitor buyout agreements to ensure company standards are met.
  • File UCC-3 amendments for RTSF clients leaving RTS.
  • Maintain quality standards and confidentiality on all projects, client, and company matters.
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure proper communication and flow of incoming accounts.
  • Review SOS sites quarterly for updates and accuracy with RTS clients' ownership structure.
  • Train new hires as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
