The Customer Development Representative (CDR) is a pivotal role within our sales and account management team, located in Mansfield, Texas. This position is primarily responsible for driving incremental sales growth within assigned accounts through effective relationship marketing and the identification of new strategic opportunities for partnership. The CDR will engage with existing customers to enhance sales and will also explore new business opportunities, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential sales. The role may involve working on a global scale, depending on the accounts assigned. In this position, the CDR will effectively communicate the overall value of Mouser's offerings to customers, aiming to increase sales from existing accounts. This involves building rapport with key decision-makers and collaborating with Customer Service Representatives and Management to deepen penetration into shared accounts. The CDR must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external contacts across various cultures. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels is crucial. The CDR will also be responsible for converting prospects into sales while meeting established sales goals. This includes following up on customer requests for quotations and utilizing experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The role requires careful planning and analysis of the impact of decisions before execution, as well as a commitment to expanding product knowledge through all available resources. Overall, the CDR plays a critical role in driving sales growth and fostering long-term customer relationships.
