About The Position

The Customer Contact Scheduler at Magna International Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of quality products by acting as a liaison between customers, shipping and receiving, and production. This position is essential for coordinating Just-In-Time (JIT) shipments, managing customer requests, and maintaining inventory accuracy, all while meeting specific customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Prior Inventory Control experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Experience with inventory flow and JIT principles
  • Automotive background preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience in a related field
  • Ability to work overtime hours is required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Technical education in APICS or MRP systems

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate JIT product shipments against customer releases and purchase orders
  • Coordinate special customer requests and respond accordingly
  • Monitor Eagle Bend delivery/service performance and take corrective action as needed
  • Conduct perpetual inventory analysis and investigate shortages/overages
  • Participate in regular scheduled physical inventories and cycle counts
  • Coordinate new program launches to ensure timely delivery and customer-specific requirements
  • Coordinate program build-outs of old product lines and bank builds as needed
  • Answer customer portals at scheduled times accurately
