The Customer Contact Representative is responsible for handling external customer requests through various channels such as telephone and internet. This role involves performing transactions to communicate requested services to the appropriate departments, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining productivity goals. The representative will address inquiries related to billing, service modifications, and outage reporting, among other tasks, while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

  • Receive external customer requests via telephone, internet, or other contact channels.
  • Perform necessary transactions to communicate requested services to the responsible department.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to billing, service turn-on, turn-off, and transfers.
  • Prepare records of all customer-requested activities on accounts.
  • Interface with other departments to satisfy customer needs and complaints.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment with regular attendance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field and 0-2 years of customer service experience, or 0-4 years of customer service experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Customer service experience working with both internal and external customers.
  • Good interpersonal skills with strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computer operations and related software (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage additional required overtime.
  • Self-motivated and dependable team player.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office and computer skills.
