About The Position

The position involves providing face-to-face customer service in the Entergy New Orleans Customer Care Centers. Responsibilities include initiating new electric and gas service, assisting customers with credit issues, and resolving various customer service issues independently. The Customer Contact Representative must be available for emergency call-outs during hurricanes or similar emergencies and will interface with other departments to meet customer needs while maintaining productivity goals. A comprehensive understanding of the Customer Care Center operations is essential, along with a high degree of flexibility.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Extensive customer service experience.
  • Proficient in CCS, MyService Console, Salesforce, ASISO, and Microsoft Office.
  • Technical Desk experience.
  • Credit and collection experience.
  • Business accounts experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, especially with difficult customers.
  • Willingness to work required overtime.
  • Ability to work well with fellow employees.
  • Ability to perform independently of direct supervision.
  • Decision-making ability and empowerment skills.
  • Wide range of knowledge about company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Customer Information System and/or Agent Information System.

Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face customer service in the Entergy New Orleans Customer Care Centers.
