Responsibilities

  • Sanitization Operator works in a manufacturing facility and performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain and sterilize the laboratories, equipment, warehouse, and offices.
  • Ensure all laboratories and equipment are clean, disinfected and ready for production and testing of sterile medical products.
  • Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse and storage areas to ensure facility is cleaned and in good condition for routine daily activities.
  • Stock and organize supplies for all required areas of the scope.
  • Operate Microsoft Applications (for charting, email, training, etc.) and other computer-based systems utilized in the facility.
  • Follow standard procedures and execute activities independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Complete documentation in a regulated environment such as completing logbooks, training, and communicating with other groups on equipment maintenance activities and special cleanings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Reliable, hardworking team player.
  • Ability to use Microsoft computer applications for communication, emails, and training.
  • Ability to pass a full physical including a respiratory certification, with annual monitoring, as well as a drug test to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience performing custodial or sanitization in a medical, laboratory, or a clean room environment.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day in a physically active role.
