Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and other office equipment.
  • Ability to see and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Capability to remain sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport objects and office supplies, and perform bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Responsibilities

  • Provide receptionist and clerical support in preparing and coordinating patient records.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments for patients.
  • Establish, inventory, and replenish adequate supply levels for nursing and ancillary departments.
  • Document all supply replenishment activities and enter issues/credits for patient care equipment and charges.
  • Process patient and supply charges for interfacing and day-close activities.
  • Monitor, rotate, remove, and document outdated and overstocked supplies, checking for damage.
  • Enter supply replenished par level forms to support daily activities.
  • Verify inventory and control levels for nursing and ancillary departments.
  • Physically stock and pick needed supplies for delivery to departments.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and abide by service behavior standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including floating to other departments if necessary.
