Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties. We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs. Weber Human Services is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions. Weber Human Services creates hope and opportunities that enable all clients and staff to: do the work necessary to become their best self and find joy through people, place and purpose. A typical day in this position includes checking visitors and clients in for appointments, and directing them to designated areas. You will schedule appointments, make confirmation calls, pre-admit clients, collect financial information for eligibility, administer assessments and OQ's. You will also answer incoming phone calls, and screen if caller needs emergency services. This position provides support to other areas as needed. We would like you to be able to type 40 wpm, so computer skills are a must. This position requires customer services skills like being able to talk respectfully to everyone you come in contact, help cultivate an environment of solving problems, and exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
