About The Position

The Customer Relationship Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service and satisfaction to customers resulting in a positive customer experience, long term solutions, and brand loyalty, and representing Vortex Industries LLC with the highest degree of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers.

Requirements

  • Strong people and time management skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and across all organizational levels.
  • Detail oriented, positive friendly customer service are key attributes.
  • Computer knowledge and skills, i.e., MS Office Suite – Word, Power Point and Excel is required.
  • Collaborative with a continuous improvement outlook.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong effective business relationships in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment.
  • Flexible with high energy, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with attention to accuracy.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree required (GED).
  • One (1) – Three (3) years of customer service experience, or administrative background preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MRP systems is beneficial.
  • B2C and experience with customer facing roles in retail, restaurant, hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively delivers superior customer service in response to customer calls, correspondence, and e-mails.
  • Ensures customer’s needs are understood and schedules the appropriate service.
  • Partners with local service centers as a liaison to large customer jobs.
  • Manages large account customers who have orders, need for estimates, or require information about products/services.
  • Ensures confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
  • Ensure constant communication with team members.
  • Ensures accurate data entry into the customer cards and databases.
  • Ensure timely completion of work through critical thinking skills, prioritization, and multitasking.
