About The Position

The Customer Care Representative serves as the primary point of contact for both external and internal customers at TRS-RenTelco. This role involves responding to customer inquiries, documenting calls, resolving issues, and providing technical support. The representative must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining a service-oriented mindset.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a customer support environment
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 10am-7pm
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office and Excel
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Handle and process customer service calls related to the rental of electronic and environmental test equipment.
  • Provide final resolution for service calls including repairs, returns, exchanges, and equipment un-sells.
  • Assess situations independently for the benefit of both the customer and the company.
  • Evaluate returned equipment and determine its status.
  • Resolve discrepancies with customers and provide necessary documentation or return logistics.
  • Provide technical expertise to internal support staff and external customers.
  • Continuously learn about the business, customers, and equipment to meet changing needs.
