About The Position

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 months of experience in home construction or customer care; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Preferred: 1 year of residential customer care or construction field experience.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

  • Knowledge of construction processes and warranty management.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to homeowner issues related to warranty items in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform accurate assessments of service requests to determine coverage under warranty.
  • Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, Customer Care Coordinators, and trade partners.
  • Conduct follow-up communications to ensure warranty repairs are completed to homeowner satisfaction.
  • Participate in Eliant Survey reviews to improve response rates and satisfaction results.
  • Perform quality control inspections and homeowner orientations within company guidelines.
  • Complete all necessary Customer Care documents accurately and timely.
  • Control warranty costs and negotiate with trade partners regarding estimates and invoices.
  • Track expenditures using accounting programs like Concur.
  • Collaborate with sales and construction teams to ensure quality new homes are delivered.
  • Maintain up-to-date product and home care knowledge to inform homeowners.
  • Assist construction teams in preparing homes for delivery to buyers.
  • Update Customer Care databases with scheduling and service provider information.
  • Coordinate and schedule trade partners for necessary repairs in homeowners' homes.
  • Perform minor home repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Track industry trends and collaborate on improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to safety policies.
