About The Position

Working closely with the Practice Manager, the Customer Care Associate supports daily front-desk operations and serves as the primary point of contact for patients. This role combines customer service, care coordination, and administrative support in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • Customer service and/or front-desk administrative experience required
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Office 365)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance or finance experience preferred, not required
  • A friendly, professional communicator
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new systems, including EMR
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to grow (medical office experience not required)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients
  • Verify insurance benefits and collect co-pays/coinsurance
  • Manage phone calls, patient portal messages, and business SMS
  • Support care coordination, including referrals, records requests, and community resources
  • Assist with clinician scheduling
  • Maintain office supply inventory
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform other duties as needed
