This Position reports to: Senior Customer Sales Support Manager. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless order management and customer satisfaction as a customer supporting asset to the customer experience team. This position is responsible for monitoring and resolving issues across the order lifecycle, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting electronic data interchange (EDI) processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The work model for the role is: #LI - Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products Division in New Berlin, WI area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, order management, or logistics
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and EDI platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Experience with dispute resolution and root cause analysis
  • Understanding of supply chain workflows and shipping documentation
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze open order reports to ensure timely fulfillment and identify potential delays or discrepancies.
  • Perform maker-checker validation to ensure accuracy and compliance in order processing and documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes related to orders, shipments, pricing, and invoicing in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Manage and verify Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASN) to ensure customers receive accurate and timely shipment information.
  • Assign and track DCT (Delivery Confirmation Tracking) codes to ensure proper documentation and traceability of shipments.
  • Identify and follow up on unconfirmed order lines to ensure completeness and accuracy of customer orders.
  • Assist in sorting and resolving EDI errors, both internal and external, by coordinating with IT and trading partners to maintain data integrity.
