About The Position

PRIMARY FUNCTION Answers, transfers, and distributes customer calls to the appropriate area of the bank. Answers banking questions and inquiries; performs bank maintenance; assist with OLB needs, assists with DC needs and resolves problems for customers and/or other Bank personnel.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year customer service experience required; banking experience preferred.
  • Pleasant, clear voice with excellent telephone communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office, Internet, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answers the phone and responds to customer service inquiries.
  • Accepts Loan payments over the phone.
  • Processes return mail.
  • Assist customers with Debit Card issues and ordering.
  • Debit card raises and travel log request.
  • Processes check orders and alerts from check ordering processor
  • Accept maintenance requests (change of address, phone number, email, stop payments, etc.)
  • Must obtain knowledge of ALL aspects of online banking to assist customers and coworkers (billpay, card control, zelle, etc).
  • Review daily reports.
  • Always maintains strict confidentiality of customer information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
