At Bayer, we are visionaries driven to solve the world's toughest challenges, striving for a world where 'Health for all, Hunger for none' is not just a dream but a real possibility. We are committed to innovation and productivity, and we are looking for a Customer Business Advisor I for the North Central South Dakota region. This role is pivotal in building a comprehensive Bayer portfolio business plan, focusing on identifying and engaging with 30-35 growers who manage over 3,500 acres of corn, soybean, cotton, and other regionally appropriate crops. The successful candidate will work closely with Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) and key retailers to achieve financial sales targets and drive market share growth for Bayer products. In this role, you will build strong relationships with large growers by providing tailored product selection and placement recommendations. You will also offer agronomic whole farm solution support, which includes seed, chemistry, digital solutions, and services. As a trusted advisor, you will stay informed about agricultural research and whole farm methods, managing trials related to the Bayer portfolio with targeted growers. Collaboration is key; you will work with Bayer Pod team members and various functions within Bayer's Crop Science organization, including marketing, product supply, sales, and market development, to ensure that targets are met. Your strategic thinking will be essential as you make recommendations to Sales and Marketing Leadership on innovative ways to enhance business results. You will also need to understand and influence growers' business objectives, monitor account inventory progress, and manage an annual SG&A budget along with all program expenditures. This position requires approximately 60% travel, reflecting the dynamic nature of the role and the need to engage directly with growers.
