AlertMedia is looking for a dynamic Customer Advocacy Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our customer advocacy program. This role will own the vision for how customer voices power our brand narrative, strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate revenue growth. You'll manage a best-in-class advocacy engine-identifying, cultivating, and amplifying customers who champion AlertMedia's mission through spotlights, peer references, thought leadership opportunities, and more. This role reports to the Senior Director, Segment Marketing & Events and is based in Austin, TX. As a seasoned advocate for customers, you know how to influence cross-functional stakeholders, prioritize competing needs, and deliver programs that scale impact across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Own and evolve the global customer advocacy strategy, defining goals, success metrics, and scalable processes that amplify customer voices across the buyer journey.
  • Identify and activate the right advocates to support the sales cycle-matching customer champions to reference calls and webinars that accelerate deal velocity and reinforce credibility with prospects.
  • Oversee the health and growth of the customer advocate database, ensuring segmentation by industry, use case, and persona to support sales and marketing motions.
  • Define strategy and drive execution for key advocacy programs, including references, nurture streams, AlertMedia's Customer Advisory Board, 3rd party review sites, customer spotlights, and reference webinars.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Marketing, CS, and Sales) to drive customer storytelling and advocacy alignment across all go-to-market initiatives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with top-tier customers to develop advocates for speaking engagements, peer references, reviews, customer spotlights, awards, and more.
  • Design and implement scalable systems for customer story intake, selection, and activation-including automation of reference workflows within Salesforce and advocacy tools.
  • Partner with leadership to shape and expand customer advisory programs, including advisory board design, content strategy, and long-term engagement planning.
  • 3+ years of customer marketing/customer advocacy experience; preferably for a B2B SaaS company.
  • Proven success building and scaling advocacy programs that deliver measurable business impact (e.g., influenced pipeline, content output, brand visibility).
  • Strategic thinker with operational rigor-able to connect advocacy initiatives to company goals and lead with data-driven insights.
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, CS, and Marketing leaders.
  • Deep understanding of advocacy and reference management programs and how to operationalize them across teams.
  • Strong program management and leadership skills, able to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously with autonomy.
