This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in supporting business divestiture activities while maintaining continuity for our customers. As a Customer Account Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer repair activity impacted by divestiture, ensuring contractual, regulatory, and customer obligations are met throughout the separation process. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner closely with internal teams and external customers to administer repair contracts, manage customer communication, and ensure all activities are executed accurately, compliantly, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Working experience in contracts, customer account management, or warranty administration, ideally in an aerospace or defense environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using SAP ERP.
  • Experience executing U.S. Government repair contracts.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Familiarity with government systems such as PIEE, CAV, and TAMS.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Customer Account Specialist supporting divestiture-related repair and separation activities.
  • Execute assigned tasks under the Separation Management Plan (SMP) to ensure continuity of customer support.
  • Administer commercial and military repair orders, including contract execution and order lifecycle management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and closure of repair orders in alignment with internal procedures.
  • Review and adjudicate the validity of warranty claims in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Manage customer interaction, acting as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Ensure all separation activities are executed in compliance with contractual obligations, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to Global Trade compliance requirements across all customer and repair transactions.
