Requirements

  • 2-4 years of work experience in a related field.
  • General knowledge of sales order processing and standard inventory practices.
  • High percentage of work is computer related working with ERP, Customer ERP and Excel.
  • Good computer skills, with knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Adobe including good keyboarding skills.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency.
  • Ability to deal with customers on phones and in person.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dependable and a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associates Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the customer service / inside sales interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies.
  • Manage supply of product to support a consigned inventory program for our largest customer.
  • Coordinate with internal shipping logistics department to ensure customer satisfaction is met.
  • Coordinate with inventory control to maintain the integrity of inventory kept at the customer consigned locations.
  • Resolve inventory issues and ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating directly with customer representatives.
  • Perform PACE Cycle count electronically, typically done weekly.
  • Process sales orders for parts used by the customer, known as PACE pulls.
  • Check price and stock per customer request.
  • Interact with Outside Sales regarding contract quotes.
  • Check voice mail messages and respond to customers.
  • Expedite PACE released parts that have back orders with the purchasing and production team.
  • Create and manage the PACE back order report daily.
  • Provide tracking information and/or proof of delivery when requested by the customer.
