About The Position

The customer Account representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned): Process pending customer orders, based on electronically sent data or manual data entry Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments to collect necessary data to allocate and route freight Print and process all order related documents, pick tickets, shipping labels, fold packing list, break labels, and small parcel request Organize pending outbound shipments Review and correct any errors related to inventory shortages and allocation of order Communicate via email and phone with Customers, Consignees, and Carriers Run and review reports to ensure all shipments are accounted for and shipped within window Manage work pace to accomplish all tasks within an eight hour shift Make Bills of Lading (BL) and attach any other relevant paperwork, confirming all information entered is accurate Review and correct any errors related to routing orders and freight pickups Must have good attendance and be willing/available to work overtime when needed Must follow quality service standards and comply with all company and industry procedures, rules, and regulations Must have good work ethic and work well with others Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; walk; utilize hand to finger dexterity, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch and talk; or hear. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to indoor cold or hot weather conditions; The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Prior data entry experience
  • Available to work a flexible schedule
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work well on a team but self-motivated and independent at times
