Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Expert knowledge in Customer/1 Billing
  • Experience with IBM DB2, SQL, Oracle Toad, IMS
  • Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe, JCL/PROC, SYNCSORT, Easytrieve
  • Familiarity with CA7, ESP, UNIX Scripting, Endevor
  • Experience with z/OS Mainframe, Unix
  • Knowledge of Agile Development and Scrum methodologies

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of AI Fundamentals, DevOps Basics, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, Automation
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Basic Cloud Architecture
  • Familiarity with Cobol Mainframe NSYNC, JES, TSO/ISPF, SPUFI, Dumpmaster, Tracemaster, SAR, SDSF, File-Aid, JIRA, Service Now, Remedy, IBM Utilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized insights in customer service and service order management.
  • Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
  • Work closely with business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and data security policies.
  • Assist with project documentation and training materials.
  • Coordinate with support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of customer-specific business environments and service level agreements.
  • Identify and resolve customer problems using defined procedures and documenting troubleshooting efforts.
