SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3 pm Position Summary: The Specialty Product Builder I will assemble wood furniture for houses of worship and courtrooms. Simple wood processing; sanding, cutting, and gluing Laminated tabletops Assembly of Chanel product Simple repeatable product mix Read part drawings Read blueprints Chancel Table cell Location Specific Details: Archbold: Chancel Table cell Laminated tabletops

Requirements

  • Regular lifting and positioning of parts up to 40 pounds
  • Attention to fine detail/ must be detail-oriented
  • Able to use handheld power tools with accuracy and precision.
  • Able to assist in training employees
  • Willingness to be trained in specialty shop processes and machinery usage
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Able to read measurement with various measurement tools
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
  • A self-starting, goal-oriented, customer-focused individual who takes personal accountability and acts in accordance with the Company’s Values

Nice To Haves

  • Woodworking craft skills desired
  • Understanding of woodshop machinery and wood joinery is desired

Responsibilities

  • Simple wood processing; sanding, cutting, and gluing
  • Laminated tabletops
  • Assembly of Chanel product
  • Simple repeatable product mix
  • Read part drawings
  • Read blueprints
  • Chancel Table cell
  • 5-S audits and daily cleaning
  • Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
