Custom Vehicle & Trailer Technician
About The Position
APG Customs / Pettus Trailers is looking for a Custom Vehicle & Trailer Technician to join our team in Farmington, MO. This role is built for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to build vehicles that stand out. You’ll be installing lift kits, wheels and tires, lighting, and other aftermarket upgrades, as well as performing trailer service and repairs. We’re not a typical shop. We work on high-end builds for serious clients, and the quality of your work matters. If you’re tired of doing the same routine work every day and want to build trucks and trailers that actually turn heads, this is the place. We move fast, we build right, and we take pride in what leaves our shop.
Requirements
- Experience in aftermarket installs and/or mechanical work
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive
- Attention to detail — quality matters here
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Trailer experience
Responsibilities
- Install lift kits, leveling kits, wheels, and tires
- Install and wire lighting (LED pods, bars, custom setups)
- Complete aftermarket upgrades and custom installs
- Perform trailer service and repairs (bearings, brakes, wiring, etc.)
- Diagnose issues and ensure clean, professional installs
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
