The Camera Hardware Engineering group drives the design, development, and innovation of camera systems across Apple's entire product portfolio—from iPhone and Mac to iPad and Vision products. Our team delivers cutting-edge camera electronics, including custom silicon, that enable best-in-class imaging experiences for our users. We're seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy engineer to help shape the next generation of camera technology. In this role, you'll collaborate with world-class experts across optics, controls, mechanics, and imaging to architect and develop custom silicon ICs that push the boundaries of what's possible in computational photography.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience in analog/mixed-signal IC development Experience
  • Experience with board-level design constraints, power assessment, or analysis Experience
  • Experience with creating design of experiments and troubleshooting or performing root-cause analysis

Nice To Haves

  • MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineer and relevant industry experience
  • Experience in low-power, low-noise sensing and/or signal processing
  • Experience with embedded systems and/or MCU-based custom silicon designs
  • Experience with software/hardware co-design methodologies
  • Experience optimizing designs across multiple disciplines to include hardware/firmware partitioning, trade-off assessments, and design verification
  • Experience with C development from architecture through high-volume production ramp
  • Experience working cross-functionally to drive engineering projects to completion
