About The Position

As a Custom Sign Fabricator, you will be responsible for the creation and assembly of high-quality, custom industrial signage. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our design, project management, paint, assembly and installation teams. A Custom Sign Fabricator needs to have a passion for craftmanship and creativity where they can utilize their skills and experiences in various fabrication techniques and materials. Requirements

  • Experience in a fabrication environment is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of various materials and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret designs, production art, and engineering instructions to fabricate custom signs.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment, including, but not limited to saws, welders, torches, shears, grinders, and sanders.
  • Work with materials such as steel, aluminum, plastics/acrylics, wood and vinyl to create durable and visually attractive signs.
  • Renovate used cabinets to refresh and modernize customer signage.
  • Trimcap acrylic letters.
  • Practice good quality practices to ensure proper functioning of signs.
  • Complete all paperwork related to the production process according to established procedures.
  • Document all materials to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Keep updated on trends and technology related to the production of signs.
  • Clean and maintain equipment daily
