The University Bookstore at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Custom Shop Manager (Retail Operations Manager, DS021). This is an internal posting for current UW-Whitewater employees. Applicants who currently are not employed by UW-Whitewater in a qualifying category will not be considered. After review of internal applicants, the position may be opened for public application. The Custom Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily workload of the Bookstore Custom Apparel Shop. This position organizes all incoming orders and ensures that high quality standards are met. This position is responsible for inventory management of blank apparel and supplies while maintaining all custom shop equipment. Custom Shop Manager is the main point of contact for all customer orders and works closely with all customers to meet brand standards. This position is responsible for training all new employees and manages 2-3 student employees. Position works under the general supervision of the Bookstore Executive Director.
