About The Position

The Custom Products Technical Quote Specialist at Cytiva plays a crucial role in managing the execution and timely completion of custom hardware quotations for Upstream Bioprocessing solutions. This position involves collaborating with the Custom HW Engineering Team to create comprehensive technical proposal packages, ensuring that customer specifications are met and that responses exceed established KPIs. The role requires strong project management skills to drive task completion and improve response quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, a science-based discipline, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales engineering, applications engineering, quoting, engineered solutions, or other technical sales support role in an industrial and/or production manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated team coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including conducting risk assessments and implementing contingency plans.
• Ability to understand issues from a customer's perspective and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution and timely completion of custom hardware quotations for Upstream Bioprocessing solutions.
• Create and manage all necessary technical data to complete custom proposal packages.
• Review and assess RFQs for custom products and systems, providing comprehensive responses in a timely manner.
• Work with the Custom HW Engineering Team to develop required technical data and documentation packages for custom quotation proposals.
• Apply project management skills to drive completion of tasks and critical path items, reducing response time and improving quality.
